Combining enhanced digital health technology with effective therapy modes, ResMed’s AirSense 11 APAP and CPAP machines are designed to make starting sleep apnea therapy, and adhering to it, easier and more convenient than ever before.
ResMed AirSense 11 features an easy-to-use touchscreen and enhanced features that help deliver an experience that's tailored to your individual needs. It also includes the For Her algorithm, a gender-specific therapy mode.
Each machine includes access to myAir, ResMed’s easy-to-use online support program and app1 designed to help you get started and adjust to therapy. AirSense 11 users also get exclusive access to new myAir features like Personal Therapy Assistant and Care Check-In.
Humidification by the HumidAir humidifier is designed to provide comfortable therapy, while preventing dry mouth and congestion. The tub can be opened and cleaned in the dishwasher, and optional Climate Control Auto setting controls the humidifier and the ClimateLineAir 11 heated air tubing to deliver constant, comfortable temperature and humidity levels during therapy.
The ClimateLineAir 11 heated tubing is designed to work with Air11 machines and the HumidAir integrated humidifier to deliver optimal humidity levels and helps virtually eliminate rainout.

Do I need a prescription to buy a CPAP machine?
Yes, a prescription is required so your sleep apnea therapy settings can be tailored to your specific needs.
The prescription should include instructions written by a medical practitioner on a medical letterhead and includes:
- Patient details (e.g. name, medical conditions, etc.)
- Medical professional (physician) contact information and signature
- Date, state of CPAP therapy, and pressure setting or specific instructions pertaining to treatment
How do I obtain a prescription for CPAP?
Book an appointment at one of our clinics or virtual clinic for a Sleep Apnea diagnosis. Upon diagnosis, your health care practitioner can prescribe Sleep Apnea treatment (if applicable) and provide a prescription.
What are the default settings on an automatic positive airway pressure (APAP) machine?
The typical default setting for auto mode is 4-20 cmH2O.
How do I clean my ResMed CPAP machine?
You should clean your machine weekly. Full cleaning instructions are found in the machine’s user guide.
Supplies you’ll need to clean your machine:
- Sink or tub
- Warm, drinking-quality water (30°C)
- Mild soap
- Clean towel
Cleaning tips:
- Unplug the machine. Wash the water tub and air tubing in warm water using mild detergent. Do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.
- Rinse the water tub and air tubing thoroughly and allow to dry out of direct sunlight and/or heat.
- Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry cloth or towel.
Can I use an ozone device to clean my ResMed machine?
Prolonged and repeated use of an ozone device may cause internal damage to a ResMed machine. The ResMed Limited Warranty excludes damage to ResMed machines caused by use of ozone devices.
