ResMed waterless humidification filters for the ResMed AirMini. HumidX and HumidX Plus cartridges are designed to retain moisture and humidify the air you breathe to provide a quality therapy experience.
HumidX and HumidX Plus cartridges are small heat and moisture exchangers that are designed to provide you comfort and effective humidification for most climates and sleep environments. Cartridges should be replaced after 30 days of use and are not suitable for washing.
HumidX is ResMed's standard waterless humidification system, suitable for most climates. HumidX Plus is intended for use in dry and high altitude environments where humidity is low (e.g. airplane cabins).

Do I need a prescription to buy a CPAP machine?
Yes, a prescription is required so your sleep apnea therapy settings can be tailored to your specific needs.
The prescription should include instructions written by a medical practitioner on a medical letterhead and includes:
- Patient details (e.g. name, medical conditions, etc.)
- Medical professional (physician) contact information and signature
- Date, state of CPAP therapy, and pressure setting or specific instructions pertaining to treatment
How do I obtain a prescription for CPAP?
Book an appointment at one of our clinics or virtual clinic for a Sleep Apnea diagnosis. Upon diagnosis, your health care practitioner can prescribe Sleep Apnea treatment (if applicable) and provide a prescription.
Can I travel with my CPAP device?

Can I use my health insurance benefits to buy a travel CPAP machine?
Most insurance providers will cover the purchase of a standard CPAP machine or portable/travel CPAP machine every 5 years. However, coverage and plans may vary. We recommend you check with your insurance provider and plan to find out if the device you want is covered.

Prolonged and repeated use of an ozone device may cause internal damage to a ResMed machine. The ResMed Limited Warranty excludes damage to ResMed machines caused by use of ozone devices.
