How do I fix a CPAP mask leak?

If you're experiencing leaks you can try these troubleshooting options:

Readjust the mask to your face by lifting it off and placing it back on.
Adjust the placement and fit of the headgear. It should be snug but not too tight.
If the various components are worn out, it may be time to replace the parts.
Clean the mask the remove any dirt and oils.
Wash your face to remove any oils that may interfere with the effectiveness of the mask's seal.

If the air is leaking near your eyes, it may indicate a poor fit. If the leak is around the nose then it could be the mask is too large or not positioned correctly. If you experience leaks from your mouth then a chin strap can help keep your mouth closed during sleep.
